Lavender stems photographed at very close range, with only a narrow band of the frame in focus and the rest falling into purple haze. More about colour and mood than botanical accuracy.

The extremely shallow focus turns most of the image into a soft gradient, which makes it far more usable behind type than a fully sharp floral shot.
